So, I wasn’t going to post this today. I was going to post it later, but then I was complaining about how I didn’t know what to write.
And he said, “Do you have anything ready?”
And I said, “Well, I have some poppets, but I said I was only going to post paper dolls on Monday..”
And he said, “Do you really think anyone will mind an extra paper doll?”
And I was like, “You make a good point, honey.”
And here we are.
So, it’s not a Monday, but here’s a paper doll anyway!

These outfit pieces are in the same color scheme as Paradisea and Petal, so they cam mix and match with those girls wardrobes. The toys in this set are all based on two designs from Abby Glassenberg and are used with her permission.
I am somewhat embarassed to admit that I think I drafted this set at least a year ago. Possibly 2 years… either way, its finally up now. 🙂
Sometimes I am slow on these things. Don’t judge me!
I am hoping beyond hope that I can get out my sewing machine, but I’ll need to do some cutting first, so I don’t know if I am ready to sew. The truth is that very little sewing is actually “sewing” and a lot is “prepping”.
But this time I am going to make something I can post here in progress rather than have to wait until it is done.
Anyone else have fun plans for the weekend? Or want to say what they think about the paper doll? Drop me a comment.
I’ll complain about an extra paper doll…..ha! Not really. He’s right: no one is going to complain about another paper doll.
I really love the vintage vibe, especially the little owl detail. And the toys are adorable of course.
I know what you mean, about sewing, I in the middle of designing a dress and a wedding vale for my sister (My basement’s a total mess).
My Machine doesn’t have a permanent home in my little condo, so it gets to live on the dining room table which is fine EXCEPT it means nothing else can happen on the dining room table for a few days.
Thanks for the extra paper doll. I bookmarked your blog a year ago, but between moving country, getting married and then moving two more times and starting a new job, I’ve only just now got round to properly checking it out. The geek in me had to go back and read all your previous entry’s. Thanks for all the fun dolls. You’ve brought back many happy childhood memories, and some recent ones too. (A close friend bought me a paper doll for my 40th)
